Stoke the Fire for Tom Potter

Calling all paddlers! SeaGnar, Seattle's premier amateur whitewater film festival, is back to celebrate the spirit of the kayaking community. This year, the event, organized by Daniel Patrinellis and hosted by 20 Corners Brewing, takes on a special meaning as it aims to raise money for Tom Potter, a beloved member of the Washington kayaking community.

Tom, a kayaker, mountain biker, raft guide, and bartender, embodies the adventurous spirit. Diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma in the past year, Tom's determination to live life to the fullest has only grown stronger. Whether it's boofing his kayak through Tumwater Canyon's hydraulics or conquering the Xanadu trail in Leavenworth, Tom inspires us all.

Join us for an evening of gnarly films, camaraderie, and fundraising. The festival will showcase a selection of pre-selected amateur outdoor films, with the audience deciding the winner.

The event kicks off with a brief talk by Thomas O'Keefe from American Whitewater, highlighting their work in recreational whitewater advocacy. Following the talk, get ready to be stoked by the film competition, enjoy special drink prices, and participate in a gear raffle, with all proceeds going towards supporting Tom.

20 Corners Brewing is a family-friendly venue, so bring your friends and family for an evening of fun and community.
