SeaGnar - 2018

Another awesome night in the books. Thank you for coming out and supporting local filmmakers and American Whitewater. I think we had at least four generations, and around 100 boaters under one roof last night, so hopefully you got to hear some good stories and catch up with friends. SeaGnar 2018 raised $837 through donations from 20 Corners Brewing, Kokatat, Werner Paddles, and Snap Dragon Design. This money was donated to help pay for the memorial venue for Sam Grafton.

We showed nine films and had to choose the top three for our prizes. The people have spoken!

3rd Place, Tyson Anderson - Tumwater Kayaking Aerial Footage

2nd Place, Spencer Beck - Wildwater Carnage

1st Place, J.T. Hartman - No Place Like Home

Tyson has a case of beer waiting for him for taking third. Spencer Beck is going to be kitted out in a new Snapdragon spray skirt for second place. J.T. Hartman will be paddling his new Werner carbon paddle up in Tumwater Canyon for taking first place. Congratulations on the wins, and thank you to all the filmmakers for taking the time to enter a film. Start thinking about next year; Spring is coming and so is the beatering! Thank you 20 Corners Brewing for the hospitality and the service. Roxy and Curt, you’re awesome. Thank you, Werner and Snapdragon for your continued support of the local community. We appreciate it. See you all on the river!
